I heard a rumor recently from one of the Toyota guys in town that Toyota is going to be producing a 3S-GTE powered, all wheel drive version of the celica for the Japan market only in 2005. I don't know yet if this is true or not, but I hope that it is. I'm thinking that a GT-4 conversion on my car would be very nice , and the best part is that it would be almost a direct bolt in!
Has anyone else heard about this, or know anything I don't?
yeah, Billy is the shit when it comes to this information! im counting on him big time! dont listen to other ppls rumors, listen to BILLY! BILLY IS THE GOD OF TOYOTA! HE KNOWS EVERYTHING WHEN IT COMES TO TOYOTA! HAIL TO BILLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
im not being sarcastic, i mean, your POPS works for toyota and he talked to the BIG GUY in toyota or you talk to the BIG GUY in toyota so you know, im counting on your words, you require no evidence/ proof about these rumors I BELIEVE IN YOU! BLAH!
Alright, well, i posted this thinking that maybe i could find some constructive input from some people on the forum... but I guess I was way out in left field to put this up here, so I'm gonna go back to my interior work and install guides, and leave the information to the experts. Later.

well..technically it is constructive..cause you found out what you wanted to know (that toyota hasnt said anythinga bout it as of yet). just some ppls deliverence of contructionism (is that evne a word? ) might seem overbearing.
but really...don't hesitate to put your opinions up about something or to speculate about rumors. a lot of times they will end up like this..but sometimes they will turn out to be true.
the caldina is NOT the celica replacement for the states...
the third model Scion is COMPLETELY BRAND NEW and is just another entry for the Scion line, not intended to replace something. Toyota most likely got rid of the Celica because of poor sales, just like the MR2.

I know, it's just dumb sometimes. I stated a while ago the same thing I said, some may or may not have seen though.
