Ok, I went to set my cruise at 40 the other day and it didn't work. Instead, it the cruise light started blinking on and off. What's up with that? I turned cruise off and after a while I tried it again and it worked. What's going on?

I had just turned cruise on and then set the speed and it started blinking and it was like taking my foot off the gas.

It's happened twice, but that's it. Sometimes it won't let me shift into 4th (automatic). It's probably possessed and all I need is a priest.

What's the cruise control, ummmmm, limit or whatever for the Celica? What I mean is, what is the minimal speed you can use it at? If it's 40, then maybe you were hovering right on the no-no point. On my Accord I think it was 40 so who knows.

yep, you need to be above that speed to use cruise control!

I don't think so. That sounds reasonable if it is the case but I've done cruise control in other cars at 25 and 30. Maybe it is that but I'm not sure. That just sounds too high for a minimum speed limit.
Not for the weak of heart.

Nope, 30 is the limit on mine. I went out and tried to set cruise while still accelerating. It just set the speed at wherever I stopped. I could not duplicated the blinking indicator light and no response.

ya, it's either 25 or 30, if I'm on base I'll just get up to 30 and turn on the cruise... there are a lot of cops on base.
