ok i am ordering the Tenzo aV7 17s in white with 205/40/17 tires...now i want to lower it and i don't have a body kit so i can drop it pretty low so i was thinking eibach sportlines, tanabedf210, or hotchkis sport...i'll get shocks after too but which ones should i get? i dont want to spend too much on suspension but just enough to keep my car in good condition.. and is that all i need, no strut and all the other stuff..? thanks a bunch! wave

ehh, with 17's and eibach sportline, you'll just get rid of the wheel well gap because the springs will counter the larger rim.

As for shocks, it depends on what you want? performance or ride comfort?

hmm...what would you recommend then? i do want to get rid of the gap because it will probably look like a 4x4 but i also want it look lowered you know? i probably want more ride comfort , but performance wouldn't hurt wave thanks for your help!

i like the eibachs and the hotchkis.

i'm a little more partial to hotchkis because they have a "celica kit" that includes everything you need to lower your car (shocks, strucks, coilovers, etc.)

I suggest a spring like the H&R, Progress or something of that sort. They aren't as low as hotchkis and eibachs but they'll make your struts live longer.

For an owner who doesn't dogg their car that much, I suggest some tokicos or TRD struts when the time comes. If you decide you want a performance strut, go with the KYB AGX adjustable struts. Quite a few people have them and they are pretty nice.

I'm going to get some KYB AGX struts soon. I've had my eibach sportlines on my car w/stock struts for about 2 years while autoxing and what not. It's time for me to go shoppin

Goldline is about a 2" drop all around. Nice look but is hard on the struts. TEIN is a good choice!

ok one more question...i'm probably going to go with the goldline springs 1.75 all around and stick with 17s, but which tires would go with those? 205/40/17, 215/45/17, blabla..? thanks!

225 40 will look better, a 215 45 has the same height but the width on the 225 is a lot better + there might be a small lip on the 215.

just do NOT go w/205. either the 225 or 215 will be fine. they will fit on the same rim.
