i have a little delema with putting a short ram intake in my car. i have i short ram intake that i used in my toyota camry. This short ram intake is 16"inch long. and if i just attact it to my celica 2001 it wouldnt fit. i was wondering if i could have my old short ram intake bended into a U shape and attach it to my car? Would the wireing or the hose lining be the same? is it possible? your help will be appriciated. Thanks in advance.

I would think it would be easier to just buy a new one.

yeah, the do you think the intake pipe could break during bending, mabye because of being too thin? I dunno, if its cheap to 'get bent' try it.

most quality brand intakes only cost around $200. that said...depending on how much it costs to bend your existing intake, it might be better to just buy a new one.

personally, if it costed more than $100 to bend an intake...i'd just fork up the extra $100 and get something that is made celica spec thumbsup

They said that they would do in for me for $15. i was just wondering if the air hoses on my old intake be the same as the real celica intake. the intake that i have has 2 holes where i can put the hose. is that enough? thanks for all the help. if this doesnt work i'll definitly buy a new one. im just being "cheap" and trying other posibilities. Thanks smile

Correct me if im wrong, so the injen short intake in your celica only has one? and this hole is connected to the MAF sensor? so i only need one hole to be able to use it in my celica? did i get that right? grin

the way intake pipes are mad it would most def break, an exaust pip has to be much stronger due to all the heat going throu it

and if i were you i'd get cold air, but thats just me
