Are those manual or automatic? I dunno, they look like they spread out too much. BTW, what's the RED car? That looks like an FD??

Lambo doors do nothing for me.
Now if you want real doors... try Koeiningsegg scissor doors. Now those are hot!

The best thing about them though, is that since the brackets on the side push them and inch out, the doors scissor towards the ground leaving them enough clearence to open basically anywhere that is higher than the roof of the car.

Eh...the 3000GT/GTO isn't that impressive. It belongs on the bottom of my list along with Supras for some reason. I'm loving the FDs tho, then again I'm a rotary freak.

look at all the cars out there with stupid looking paint jobs and vinyl decals with pretty little stickers all over them. paint jobs and vinyl decal jobs will cost 1000+ (for a good one that is), and many of these tacky jobs look like rice. with 1600 dollars you could but an AEM CAI, Hotshot Header, and TRD Exhaust, and STILL have some left over..which would make your car perform better. i just dont understand why people would spend the money they COULD use to improve the performance of their cars JUST to make their car doors go upwards.

How do you know that the cars with the Lambo doors don't already have all those performance mods you have just listed? Plus, it's style, it's not meant to make your car go faster. This is what I say, "When you think something makes your car go faster even though it doesn't, then it's rice!" It's more about attitude, I think. Let them spend money how ever they want to spend it, and spend your money the way you want it.

yeah i understand the whole style aspect, but to spend 1600+ to make your doors go upwards? a bodykit, yes everyone will see because it is on the exterior of your car. clear corners, rims, mirrors, etc. all great mods for the exterior. however lambo doors to make your doors go upwards to try to look like a "lambo" is something i still dont understand, when you only use your doors to get in and out of the car. well if you guys would like to spend that 1600+ on your upward-opening doors, be my guest. not my money

So if someone values the looks of their car over performance more, guess where they'll be spending the money on? Same thing with normal things like shoes. Someone can just buy one pair they're good for a year if not more, since they only use shoes for everyday use. Then again, someone can buy multiple $100+ shoes and have numerous shoes to choose from all year long so that it can match their "style". Personally I haven't spent more than $70 bux on shoes my whole life, and only have about 4 pairs of which I only use 2 regularly.

Personally I haven't spent more than $70 bux on shoes my whole life, and only have about 4 pairs of which I only use 2 regularly. this is true. and its worth asking: why do lamborghini doors go up in the first place? after all..its just doors, right? i mean..it would be easier to produce a murcielago with normal doors..but it has that "wow" aspect. thats why i don't like the gallardo's doors...i think a lambo should have lambo doors. anyway, its just preference. if i had the $$, i'd def go out today and buy a decah kit.

Hi everyone. I'm Bill from Import Precision. I'm a bit partial to that black 3000GT sypder in the first post because...well, it's mine I found your thread in my site logs so I decided to come by and say hi. (and for the record, my last car was a White 91 Celica GT, so I'm partial to celica's too) Now that I've sold it, I refer to it as the Soldica (ok, that was really bad). I've come by to offer answers to any questions you might have about our kits. Right now we do not have a kit custom made for the celica, but it is on the horizon. No ETA yet. RX7, and 2nd/3rd Gen eclipses are up first. Some things you may not know are that our kit is custom made for each car model. We are not like the decah kit which is only for Civic, and then welded/cut/drilled to "fit". That way you are getting a true bolt on designed for your car, not a modified civic kit. Ours is the only kit that gets your door up above the a-pillar so you dont have to do a "sideways tango" to get in... and ours is the only kit that opens up both OEM and vertical. We have a preview video available here: http://www.socal3s.com/vls_importprecision_vls_preview.mov I will be at CES showing off the VLS if you are going to be there. I'll be the 6/5 blonde guy at the Redline/Quest booth. You may have seen me at SEMA this year as well. Let me know if you guys have any questions. -Bill bill@importprecision.com
