...I'll probly pick one up next week unless I see another I like more (and that's probably not going to happen) Does anyone know if that lower air scoop will let water drain onto my intake? It kinda seems like it would if it was raining a lot.

what kit do you have? with a more agressive kit it looks AUSOME, but if you have something like the R2, or kaminari i would perfer an oem style hood with raised scoop, but that hood is off the chain

Yeah that's what I was thinking too. What about water going through the vents and into the engine compartment? That wouldn't be good.

Yeah that's what I was thinking too. What about water going through the vents and into the engine compartment? That wouldn't be good. water won't hurt. i wash my engine bay every time i wash my car. i think i remember reading somewhere awhile back that even isaac sprays a hose up his scoop all the time to "clean it out" (somebody correct me if i'm wrong--it was when i was a new member)

Hood is purchased! Should have it in a week or so. Does not require hoodpins and the water issue should not be a problem as my Injen is far enough off to the side but I'll probly get a heat shield for it just in case. I'll post pics as soon as i can!
