Sup all, i got a stock 03 celica gts with the trd action package. I wanted to get a nice sounding exhaust system on my car (not rice rocket sounding, but clean). Please give some recommendations

is kazuma exhaust system, legal in cali? And exactly how loud is it? Does it sound clean or ricey. What about TRD exhaust?

Go with TRD.

Also, here's a page with exhaust specs and sound clips for each one, so decide for yourself. TRD brings forth the greatest gains, but the difference is minimal between some other exhausts.

with just TRD exhaust its not very loud at all, but with intake, and headers it is perfect, not extreamly loud, but people will definately hear you

easy on the guy hes just new here. weve talked about this subject a lot before so you can goto search (on the navigation) and search for the exhaust, pics, and all that. ull find more than enough. IMO i would get trd. not ricey and not quiet. just something that sounds nice and gives a little gain

go with TRD. most custom exhaust are gonna be pretty loud, i had a custom before TRD and although the sound is awesome (very deep tone), TRD gives the best gains, is legal, and looks awesome.

heh..my bad.. rolleyes

get the Tanabe Super Racing Medallion. it sounds A LOT nicer, and although it's supposed to give less gains than TRD, the gain is minimal (like .02 HP). thumbsup

a trd exhaust should be fine..just keep it clean. you really can't go wrong w/either. personally i like trd, but they're so similar its just your personal opinion. stainless steel does = more weight though. so even though your horsepower gains are minimal, the extra weight will decrease them a tad bit more. thumbsup

go TRD...

i have the standard length trd and an AEM CAI...i just the other day showed my car to a guy that just moved to cali from the Miami Racing scene and he gave me mad props...at first b4 i started her up he thought it was goin to sound ricey and all but then as soon as i turned the key he just couldnt stop complimenting the car...so then i took him for a ride and there shall soon be a new celica owner in town he loved it...plus i told him bout ecelica and he should be coming round here pretty soon...

sorry bit off topic...

but def. go TRD...
