Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Sound system for GTS

I have a 2002 gts and my cuzin got a 2002 gt we both bought it around the same time
my sound system is WAYY better than his mine sounds like it has a sub but i can't find it anywhere does any1 know if the gts's have a sub or there just REEALLy good speaker b/c my bass is insane and his is not that good

gts comes in w/ 8 speakers.

you have four 6x9's and four Tweeters with an amp under hte passanger dash next to hte AC

celicas only have 6.5's. you mite have the premium sound system with 8 speakers. The celica speakers are decent IMO

yes, you don't have 6X9's...all 6 of your speakers are 6.5"s and then you have 2 tweeters on the front doors.

as opposed to the gt which has 4 6.5" speakers.

i think my gts sound system is pretty good..for stock.

the gts has 6 6.5's? where are the other 2? in a GT there is one in each door and one on each side in the back seat area, where are the additional 2 speakers in the gts?

Isn't it next to the right leg of the driver & left leg of the passenger down by the transmission?

yes. thats where the other 2 are in the gts.

you have 4 front speakers and 2 rear speakers in a gts.
