Ok, I installed my '99 punch 150a2 amp yesterday and rewired it today and am still having problems. First off I'm using the factory head. Yesterday I wired into the harness using those cheapie wire taps, it accually worked to my suprize but I wasn't getting the best signal so I rewired it today with gold butt-splice crimps and rerouted my powerwire from down the center console to the driver side door sill. My ground wire is grounded to the bolt that holds down the ebrake lever(this might just be my problem). After my rewire today I have 18 gauge RF speaker wire running down the center console under the shifter and coming out the side next to the passenger seat and have that connected to a RCA convertion box and have all the RCA cable rolled up under the passenger seat with the amp. But now my problem, i get engine noise. I'm not sure what causes it, but like I said eariler I think it's the grounding point, but I don't have enough wire to go very far with it(Battery & Ground Wire are 10gauge). Also I'm not getting the bumps I should with my 10W0 JL Sub. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it?

Oh ya and I have a 02 celi GTS, the freaking speaker wires that I tapped into are for the front and not the rear(I WANTED THE REAR, but the wiring guide thingy in the install section is wrong). Should I rewire to the rear? I really don't want to because I cut into the factory harness.
