Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Make Your Own Vinyl Overlays [PICS]

I did this great mod today to red out my break lights. It took almost no time, cost all of $2, and all the supplies are readily available! All you need is red lens repair tape available at pep boys, auto zone, walmart, etc, scissors, paper and a pencil. This is the product I bought:


I cut out a pattern of the correct shape from a piece of paper:



Pull it tight as you stick it on, pressing any air bubbles out. The color and finish match is good.


You must use two cuts of tape to fit the wide yellow part, unlike Bat's single piece. BlueBat has a good product, and having seen it first hand myself, it does fit perfectly and match very well. This will save you a lot of money, looks very comparable, and takes only 30mins (including time to drive to the store .
If you're like me, you love cheap and easy mods that make a big difference. Hope you guys dig it.
