I had ordered some tenzo wheels from wheelsnext and I had such a hard time with them that I canceled the order. I also heard that some of the tenzo I wanted to know what are some wheels that look good on a silver 2000 celica. Any one with pic's on similar would be helpful

was the problem with tenzo, or was the problem with wheelsnext? any info would be appreciated.

as far as wheels are concerned: racing style rims are the only wheels i think look right on a celica. gunmetal, silver, and chrome are tight in my opinion. most people (including me) feel "stars" are better, and most people like odd #'d spoked stars over even spoked stars. i generally agree with this, but the racing hart cr's are a big exception...they look awesome. i'll try and find some pics thumbsup

your best bet is to go with 17" rims and if you can spare it: 18s are very nice (with 18" wheels it's a good idea to drop your car or get a kit...celicas look better the closer they are to the ground)

these look like axis muse wheels to me. that said, there are a few brands who make very similar style wheels.

yes, they are actually 18" ADR Kasai to be exact. not axis muse..although they are very similar.

are you looking for the 2-piece or the 1-piece? the price will obviously be affected by this. also, what size diameter and how wide? (17 X 7.5? for example)

that said, they look decent.

How about those RH CR'S in 18x7.5? Do you know a good place to get them with some tires? Is it better to get tires and wheels seperate?

superbuytire.com sells the set of 4 for $1700 with tires. very reputable site...but you can most likely find them cheaper somewhere else. wheelmax used to sell the set for $1550, but i don't even see that they carry racing hart anymore. if you want to try you can call them here: 1-800-545-5745 thumbsup

also, if you are interested in buying the kaminari kit, do you like the sideskirts? a lot of people here (including me) think the kaminari sideskirts are too 'bubbly' and don't flow well with the celica's more edgy look. if you do like them, then thats fine. but if you agree, you may want to look into getting the rmm sideskirts. personally, i think they flow very well with both the kaminari kit and the celica itself.

a celica with kaminari front/rear and rmm (rod millen motorsports) sideskirts:

as opposed to the more 'bubbly' kaminari sideskirts:

it's worth noting that buying a kit in pieces is generally more expensive than just buying the kit as a whole. so that's something you should look into.

well I'm kinda stuck out here in the desert right now, so I have no choice but to save some money. I know I have been asking you a lot today, but do you know a good place to get the parts of the kam kit w/ the rmm side skirts?

you can buy the kaminari front/rear here at autosportz.com: celica--kaminari body kit pieces [autosportz.com]

front (fiberglass): $329
rear (fiberglass): $329
front (urethane): $379
rear (urethane): $349

and you can buy the rmm sideskirts for $370 (for both) here: http://www.roadcatalogs.com/store/rmm.html

no prob, glad i could help thumbsup feel free to pm me anytime if you need something else (do you know how to pm?). if i can't help you, i'm almost certain someone here can (we have some real celica hardballs here)...or feel free to just start another post.

before you start another post, though..you might want to check out the 'search' feature found on top of the forums page. many topics have already been discussed and you can find information on almost everything celica related. if the information is unclear, or you still have questions...then like i said feel free to make a new post thumbsup

a few other people who most likely will be able to help you should you have a question:

lucky_317 and illusive are the racing gurus on this site. although they drive gts' (not the gt which you have) they still should be able to offere more information than anyone else on this subject.

michael aristide
is the self proclaimed 'celica nerd' (but member proclaimed). any questions you have about mechanics, dynos, power, torque, etc...he's your man

diablogts is exaclty what his title is (celica god). for most anything about anything, he's got an answer (and a smart comment to go with it).

and of course isaac and the moderators are invaluable
