It was around $300ish... Installing can take a while anywhere from 2-3 hours, you have to remove your front bumper and modify the bulb (if you don't want to have "train tracks.") Personally, if I had more knowledge then as I do now I would have gone with Phillips HID's. There is more info on HID's on this website [faq.auto.light.tripod.com]

There is more info on HID's on this website [faq.auto.light.tripod.com] why did you have to modify ur bulb? with my mcculloch i had no prob installin and i had it done within 45 mins... and what is this so called "train tracks" you speak of? oh ya congrat on strut bar looks good!

So, when the lights are reflected up, they caused a shadow. You'll see two brown lines on the ground. To fix this, I had to turn the bulbs "upside down" so the return wires facing down and modify the bulb base to fit the H7 slot. Really BAD reality TV is the reason I stopped watching MTV.

I switched to a Philips/Nissan kit with D2R bulbs @ 4300K. The boxes are mounted underneath the headlight housings. Really BAD reality TV is the reason I stopped watching MTV.

The Philips bulbs are very bright. The lights are white with a hint of blue at the cut-off line. Sorry, no pics yet. I had to return the digital camera because it takes really bad pics at night. Really BAD reality TV is the reason I stopped watching MTV.

But, to change the projectors, you would need to take your headlights apart. Major surgery. Or you can have a company in So Cal do it for $800 includes HID kit, new projectors and labor. I will find the website for you later. Really BAD reality TV is the reason I stopped watching MTV.

The audi TT projectors use standard D2S bulbs. But, I am sure the H7 would fit in there. I am using D2R bulbs in the H7 slot.
