$20 at pep boys. cant beat em. i wired up two toggle switches under the window lock button that have little LEDs that light up when you turn them on. total cost was about $100. 2x$20 for neon tubes, 2x$12 for strobes, $10 for inlinefuse holder, $8 for 25 feet of wires. took me about 3 days to do. very easy job, hardest part is gettin the wires through the firewall. make sure if you do this you get the inline fuse holder (mine is one from Rockford Fosgate so thats why its expensive), if you dont use one of these when you hook everything up and accedentaly touch the ground and powre wires you can fry ur neons. i burnt out my first fuse by this and trust me its very easy to do if ur not careful. just follow the directions from the install section. thats what i did.

u can get the Rockford Fosgate on like i have at best buy for about $10. it comes with both ends of the wire connected so you have to cut the wire in half to get one end to go to the battery and the other to ur accessory.

u also have to connect the other end coming out of the fuse holder to ur power wire. like shown here. i soldered my connection and wrapped it in electrical tape. for the fuse i would reccomend a 7.5 amp fuse. this runs my neons and my strobes fine.

basically what an inline fuse holder does is puts a fuse between ur neons and the battery, so if you were to touch the positive and ground wires together o r something like that ur neons wouldnt blow out. then you would keep having to replace them. this puts a little fuse in that black box that is very easy to change and when you accedentally touch the ground and positive wires it just blows the fuse and cuts the circuit protecting ur neons. happend to me when i was installing them and the fuse saved me from buying all new neons. this is also great to use to upgrade for more neon, strobes, undercar neon, and wiring ur amp for ur stereo. all you have to do is just get high amp fuses as you add stuff on. its a great $10 investment to keeping all ur expensive electonics in ur car safe.

Photography tips: Your jpeg headers: File name : 1869771022-HPIM1294.JPG File size : 1938394 bytes File date : 2004:01:14 17:59:07 Camera make : Hewlett-Packard Camera model : HP PhotoSmart C850 (V05.27) Date/Time : 2004:01:12 17:44:54 Resolution : 2272 x 1712 Flash used : Yes Focal length : 7.6mm Exposure time: 3.672 s Aperture : f/2.8 Focus dist. : 0.62m ISO equiv. : 100 Whitebalance : cloudy Metering Mode: center weight Exposure : program (auto) Jpeg process : Baseline
You should learn how to use your camera's auto focus. You need to depress the snap button half way to let it focus. Give it a few secs. Fully depress it to shoot. You should keep the object of focus in the center while it is focusing, you can reposition the frame later. Also, for those dark pictures you should turn the flash off. You'll need to brace your hands or set the camera on something to keep it still for the longer exposure. Hope this helps everyone taking fuzzy shots that happens to read this.
