Hey everyone, I just got a Celica about a week ago, which is my first car car (I had a Toyota Tundra before it...but it was passed along to my brother). It's a GT with about 29k miles on it, and I really like it except for the annoying rattles coming from the dash and A/C vents at about 3500-4000 RPM! Makes it sound really cheap. Anyone know what these are and how I can fix 'em? Thanks! (and I'll get some photos of my car and the system I've put in it soon ).

Ther are several TSB's on rattles for the 7th Gen Celica. The dealer should fix it for you. I will try to find this for you but it's been a long day so don't expect it from me even though I will try or have already.

I can't remember where I saw the TSB's from. They even had diagrams how to fix the rattles. I looked and I searched some other sites. The dealership should fix it for free if you complain and they will have the same info that I'm trying to write about. Anybody else out there must know about the TSB for rattles.

Hehe, yeah I was pretty damn happy to find it. Thanks guys, I'm new to this forum so I didn't know bout those TSB's. I actually bought it from a private seller, but he'd bought it from a dealer about a month before that (then realized he couldn't afford it), and they're supposed to fix a fogged up headlight anyways, so I'll see if I can get them to do anything about the rattles.

if they don't fix em still, most of the dash stuff is lose wires or just wires that can rattle against the plastic console pieces... open them up and tie down the wires with zip ties, or use some soft foam blocks in certain places to prevent wire to plastic contact areas... helps quite a bit...
