Hey..its your car, if you like them and it will make you happy, get them! They just aren't my cup of tea...

BUT..I know for a fact the lights are facing the hood, and you wouldn't be able to see it b/c the hood would block the light. Then again I haven't seen it done, im just trying to picture what it would look like

IMO I think redded out tails look the best, and it only cost $5 dollars or less to do...

i posted the pictures to show how one person has done it... not so that everyone could bash on him. What is important is that if this is what he wants to do to the car HE DRIVES, than more power to him - if you don't like his setup, then you don't have to do it to YOUR car.

silver00, the majority of people have already made up their feelings about washer-lights, but don't let that sway your choice you from doing it to your car if you want it done thumbsup

I hope these pictures have helped someone come to a better conclusion of what it COULD look like if you install in this manner rice

Seriously buddy, if you wanted to do something to your car and you came on a Celica forum asking for advice would you want to be laughed at? I don't think anyone would, it is his car and what Isaac said is good, everyone has different taste and no one should be limited to what other people think they should have on their car.

I sure as hell don't want anyone telling me what mods to have on my car. Just try and take it easy on the commenting on other peoples cars thumbsup

Actually, I was the person who took those photos. I took the pictures because I thought that at some point, another person would want to see them for their own install... so instead of being mean like you, I was being helpful tongue

I've seen ALOT of stuff that I don't personally agree with - but when I see something that has been installed very clean and professionally - i gave the installer thumbsup for the install.

In this case though - I actually thought his install was kinda cleaver and it went with his color scheme... not something I'd do to my car, because its not MY STYLE, but I'm sure it is many other people's style or these washer-lights wouldn't be in so many stores (yeah, i bet you didn't think about that tongue)

btw, what are "wipper lights" ?

id expect people to laugh at me, pure and simple. im not afraid of the truth. what i ment by wipper lights, it was the next logical "progression" beyond his original idea, if you didnt catch that.

If you are going to basically use the lights as an accessory light for show, why not remove the scoop, remove the black part of the scoop, mount them as far back as you can inside the scoop, then you will get light from there. It won't block the airflow like a neon tube will. Won't spray water, but having them on top of the scoop won't be any good for spraying water anyway. Plus the stock ones will still be there.

i had them on last last car..white, look good..but on the celica if you want them to squirt it's kinda hard to remove and the light is kinda bend downward so light replection aren't that good..but if you put them under the hood scoop, that would be cool..either white or blue or somthing will look good..Go for it.. thumbsup
