I have the AC Reverse Indiglo Gauges for my Celica GT and the AC Water Temp & Volt Gauges (not the S7 kind) I want to get this Tachometer from AC AutoTechnic but my local shops can't get it and I can't seem to find it anywhere. The S7 Tach is nice but this one fits in with my others and will light up in the same scheme. Anyone seen this anywhere?

OMG I always get the shaft! All my local shop HAS is the S7 series which (don't get me wrong) is great but will not flow with the rest of my setup (i think so anyways)

This is a sign to stay away. What do you need to tachs for

This is a sign to stay away. What do you need to tachs for i dunno..but i think he has the a-pillar gauge pods...so i guess if you've got your head concentrated on your a-pillar (away from your dashboard) looking at other info, you won't have to look away to see your tachs.

Haha, you guys are hilarious! I was up till 2am last night and found the Tach I was looking for here... AC Race Gauges [ cruzingzone.com] ...although they weren't so kind to include a picture, the description matches and the price is pretty damn good. Yahhhhhhh, well, I don't feel the need to defend my purchase of aftermarket parts, regardless of their necessity but like I stated in my first post, I'm at least trying to make sure my shit matches in the car. Would I rather have a "bone stock" looking car with expensive engine mods or a "tricked out" looking car with the basic engine mods...I think it's pretty obvious what I want. Thanks for all the help though! I'll post pics once I get it!

Thanks! All these parts lying around will actually be in my car in a week! I'm so excited. The Tach is getting shipped to my sisters' house in Cali first (cause the company is and wouldn't let me ship it to Canada, so it'll be a few weeks till I get that)

Instead of starting a new post I thought I'd update my *cough cough bullshit* situation here. So the shop I finally found my AC Tach at emails me and actually NO they don't have any left even though their site suggests otherwise...whatever. So I'm stil S.O.L but every place I talk to is trying to sell me the S7 version. Do you think that will look out of place cause my other gauges aren't thet S7 kind or has anyone seen a decently priced Tachometer that would look good? Thanks!

Isn't it illegal to have multiple tachs on your car?

Isn't it illegal to have multiple tachs on your car? i havn't heard anything about this...and why would it be? if for some crazy reason it is (distraction, maybe?), you could just disable your factory tach. i don't know why it would be illegal though.

Yah, I checked that site out They only take Visa/MC neither of which I have and shipping to Canada for an item that size is $25-$30 Yeeeeeah. Ok, no. I looked again at the S7 Tach at my local shop today...$275, yeaaaah, down in the US you people can buy an exhaust for that much...Canada sucks for aftermarket parts.

Search is over! Thanks to everyone for their help. Here's what I'm getting. 9K Redline is pretty cool as it's a lot closer to a stock tachometer (no ridiculous 11k redline) so I'm totally happy with it!

My piece of shit interior doesn't need any quality aftermarket parts that enhance and differentiate my Celica from others on the road. In fact, my hard work and patience at finding a Tach that matches the rest of my gauges was probably a bad idea. I'm better off not to spend so much money on shit like that and instead purchase some clearance Yosemite Sam floormats and matching seat covers.

I really appreciated yet another email informing me the Tach that by all appearances was still in stock, is actually discontinued, and all AC Autotechnic is pushing is their 5" S7 Tachometer...son of a bitch. I give up
