depends on what shop you go to. ask them not us. i would estimate around 60 bucks. thats about what i would estimate. if you are taking to a shop (thats what it sounds like), it really just depends on if they already have "040" white (that's the paint code for your color car--super white) already there or if they have to order a quart or so of it. if they already have some then your cost will be cheaper but if they have to order/obtain the paint..then obviously your cost will probably be higher..even though you won't use all of the pain you will most likely be charged for it.

I got my C-one hood scoop painted and installed for $100, a little high but the people I had do it are very reliable and trustworthy, and I'll pay a little extra for that.

if you havn't already bought a hoodscoop..check out mb autosports for theirs..they come pre-painted edit--i just visited their site to get more info and it is currently down i'll keep checking though.. if you want to call, however, their # is 562-307-1721. they should be able to give you anything you want to know about details & pricing

I hit mine with a some regular Krylon semi-flat black, which is holding up very nicely, and the difference in the sheen between my high gloss carbon blue hood and the semi-flat black scoop is awesome. Total cost with my employee discount on the spray can was $2.04 and about an hour of my time to do three coats, and wet sand in between.

BTW... you might want to add what number paper you used for the wet sand. Don't want someone to use 40 grit between coats.

When i paint something that needs to be shiny, i don't use paper, i use 0000 grade steel wool. It seems that there really isn't a good detailed paint guide on this site... maybe I should do one... Who thinks I should do a paint guide? Vote away..
