Anyone know where I can get a turbo for my 2000 GTS? Haven't been able to find one anywhere. Or would I have to make one fit? Isn't TRD coming out with a super charger in Feb. 2003? Anyone know the costs on any of these? Thanks for all the help, guys...this site is the greatest one out.
I don't believe that that kit has been released yet, but it will definitly be the highest output system for the celica as they are planning on reinforcing the internals (~300 whp)
The only kit that is now available for the GTS is the turbo performance kit, but there have been a lot of problems with customer service and bad parts with that kit.. as well as some issues with leaking at high temperatures
The infamous TRD kit would prolly only be for the GT, but chances are it won't ever happen.
Blitz has a supercharger kit for the GTS that will be available any day now if it isn't already. It is kinda pricy though at $5000 for ~210 whp
Alpine Developments is planning on releasing a supercharger kit for the GTS around march of next year.. they are expecting to see similiar numbers to the blitz kit for ~$3000, but that remains to be seen
What do you mean by good? If you mean good like reliable, wait a little while and go with the blitz supercharger. They specifically said they do not want to assiciate blown 2zzge engines with their name, so they are going to do a damn good job with this s/c. That is also a reason why they're taking their sweet time with this kit. Thats just what I heard, late!

210 WHP? REALLY!!! OMG, you know everything, THEN MAYBE YOU SHOULD CHECK OUT TURBO MAGAZINE'S REVIEW- & YOU SHOULD CALL THEM UP AND ASK THEM WHY THEY GOT 33.6 MAX HP? http://turbomagazine.com/features/0211tur_celica/
If you read correctly, he posted " It is kinda pricy though at $5000 for ~210 whp"
I think he meant AROUND 210 WHP because he used the ~. It doesnt matter if hes off by 10 hp. Pretty much the same stuff bro.

They got 33hp out of a supercharger designed for the japanese version genious. Hence its designed for 100% oct. So the test in turbo magazine was done on an american car with 93% oct, which it is not designed for. So before you go bashing people, you might want to read the whole damn article instead of looking around for HP numbers. Also, its only a 3psi supercharger, what the hell do you want? Dont forget its running 11.5/1 compression; slamming a 9psi supercharger on there will blow a head gasket or damage the heads altogether. Post after you learn something about cars!

Oops. 91% oct test here, even worse! Read where they say they were using a japanese ecu, hence the lean mixture=less hp.

If you can not wait you have around $6000+ to blow I am sure there are plenty of people who can turbo charge your car for ya. Just remember custom turbo you may run into problem because it is not tested like the mass produced kits, so find an experienced shop to do it if you are going to do it.
