Really interested in this...If anyone has opinions please let me know. The tanabe seems to loud for me! I live a block from the cop shop. Im very interested into performance gains as well. I can get the trd decently cheap, but others say it tends to rust!! please help me soon before I do something stupid!

the greddy is usually a bit more than the trd exhaust. trd is lighter though and provides a bit better gains.

that said, you shouldn't buy any of the two for more than $500. $450 would be more of a sweet spot (but you can probably get them even lower than this)

Just search this amazing site for your answers #1 and #2 just to name a few. I would go with a modified JIC all titanium if money isn't an issue and that company was willing.

You want the sweetest exhaust on the market. The Trial Exhaust is by far the best, the lightes, and makes the most hp/torque gains.

ditto with the people above me about making claims about hp/torque.

also, the site you mentioned doesnt have a trial exhaust and as far as i'm concerned--it never did (i live on that site). it has a trial header which is very different. i've never even heard of a trial exhaust before-especially one in america. (not saying they don't exist, just saying i havnt heard of one. and if they did exist..i'm sure VERY few celica owners outside of japan have them)

The only exhaust that you can really make a claim as being the best performer would be the ultra medalion. It has the same gains as the TSRM, but weighs about the same as the Veilside exhaust.

I think I'm gonna go with the TSRM, I hear so many good things, its a cheap exhaust, plus I hear its a bit more durable and wont rush as easy as the Greddy Evo II. I'll have the TSRM on by February.

I really like the Evo. Its quiet until you get up into 5-7, and then it sounds NICE.

I haven't gotten mine back on the dyno yet to see the actual improvement, but I really didn't notice much of a difference.

Really easy install.

It looks decent too.

i used to want nothing but the greddy evo...but then i found out more about it so currently i'm leaning towards the regular trd extended. legal, light, stainless steel, and one of the best exhaust performers thumbsup

This is a full race exhaust weights little less than 7lbs. and is a straight through exhaust system.
