Got all the bolt-ons: CAI, EXHAUST, PULLEYS, GROUNDING WIRES, and Header.

Next steP:Monkeywrenchracing.com now selling a bore kit that will take the 1.8 to almost a 2.0 (32mm)$800, then do their wisco (nitros) pistons for $500.00 and rods $800. Next, do the greddy e-manage they have that can come pre-programmed. Then get a level10 stageII torque converter $400, then run a 150 shot of nitrus.

All that in a 2000 Toyota Celic GT Automatic. Looking at a fast mover.

Any thoughts?

Do you/they have any idea what the engine will be dyno'ing at without the juice when you're done?

sounds good...that'd be one auto gt that'd smoke my gts..thats for sure thumbsup

one question though..what do you expect by getting the 'stage II torque converter' is there really any performance to be had by this? i thought torque converters only spun your tranny while it was at idle. does it spin first a little faster or something?

also, what kind of hp increase is expected from the almost 2.0L displacement? mostly torque, correct?

also, your greddy e-manage system comes pre-programmed for your STOCK setup. you can program this system to fit your setup (and future setup), but don't expect it to work so well straight out of the box..especially with the mods you plan on doing.

Actually, you e-mail them letting them know what mods you have done and they tune it for you based on that information.

The torque converter wont really add any power. increases your stall speed and quicker and more precise engagements.
