Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior full repaint color change?

anyone do a color change on their 7gens? I need to talk to someone to see if they did every thing including inside trunk and all that. + about engine bay. needed questions answered! + any company's offer aftermarket headlights. mine are scratched up bad.

My car is going for a color change in about 2 weeks. What type of color change questions do you have. I am getting everything painted. Ask away!!!

actually i'm going for one color. it's a dark grey that house of kolor makes. ppg makes one close to it. But I would rather go w/ house of kolor even though it's more expensive.
I was if anyone has done a complete change. Inner trunk fenders, complete trunk. All the engine bay. and sun roof everything you know. door jams. and whole inside of car like bottom beneath the carpet and all that. I work in a body shop so everything is free except the paint. I don't paint but I do a lot of collison removal and frame allignments. AND a whole lot of sanding. So it's not a real big deal.
I just wondering what your guys thought about it all would be. I just don't know about all the sanding and are hard to get to get places. Heck of a big job. Probably take me a month to get everything out and sanding and preped. But do you think I could get away w/ leaving the physical dash in. Just doing some serious masking and plasticing. Anohter question. not the physcal middle console painting but teh dash it's self. Do you think paint would stick to that good? I would love to fiberglass it all but take too much time and I think it's a project I don't want to take that or the door panels. My center console is flawless but it's aharder abs material or something.
