Well, the TWM quickshifter should be arriving in the morning. Has anyone here used the TWM in a 5spd GT? I need some feedback Also, I just bought this momo shift knob and boot, but I really can't decide. What do you guys think it would look like a little shorter? To tell you the truth, i'm thinking of going back to stock boot + knob, it seems to be the nicest fit by far. I do have that small round TRD shift knob sitting around too. What are your opinions?

this is how tall twm shifter is knob is a sparco. looks good to me personally..unless you plan on doing some more interior matching with your momo boot, i would go back to stock--it just seems out of place if that is all you are planning on doing as far as color matching is concerned. just an opinion

take the boot apart. Push the excess material down the ring and tie it with a rubberband. Then the shorter shift wont make the boot look like long pants on a midget. With the trd knob it looks good with the chrome ring. Thats how mine is set up

there are a few different kinds, but I think the one he is talking about is the little leather ball one. They sell them all over. FYI none of the knobs above are TRD, that red one is a sparco. Here is a site that might help (TRD knob): http://www.toyotaparts4u.com/e_catalog/

Yep, the TRD one i'm talking about is the little black ball leather one with TRD in the center.

Thanks for you opinion guys. The shifter missed the bus today, but he assures me I will have it 9-10 am tomorrow at our dealership. I went ahead and took out the yellow momo boot and momo shift knob tonight and put in a brand new stock toyota boot (I cut the old one to fit the momo boot) and the small black leather ball TRD knob. Looking very forward to the TWM quickshifter! Anyone here install their own? Any tips for me? P.S. For Sale: Momo yellow shifter boot (ready to install in Celica - comes with base), and chrome Momo shift knob. Used two days, but not my cup of tea - mint condition! E-mail for pics
