For some reason i am having problems with my car...i installed my Ingen CAI about 2 months and cannot get rid of my CEL...but lately when i fill my car up with gas the car will not stay running...it just dies and it idles really low all the time...how do i go about cleaning my MAF because i am thinking that maybe some oil from the filter bled through and has gathered on it...i just hope it isnt damaged and i have to buy another one...someone let me know a fix...please...i love the intake but tempted to put my stock back on...thanks...i have checked and double checked all my hoses and everything.

if your MAFS is getting too much air, when you come to a stop and idle your car will drop really low in the rpm range, and then just stall out. this has happened to me. most of the time this is a problem with the filter not being on right, or there is an area that is letting in too much air just at idle. hope that helped alittle

I just intall my Injen CAI, and haven't got any problem yet and hopefully not. I guessing you should go and tighten up all the clamps and see if anything is letting the air out. especially the long black tube where you have to cut. other than that, i have no clue grin .

ANY MECHANIC OR MECHANIC WANNABE IN HERE?? HELP 4U2ENVY OUT!!!

Life is like a dream...Hopefully when you wake up it isn't like mine.

I have a injen cai on my gts and i have had to change it out a couple of times before i took it in to the dealer for a cel or some warranty work. The mechanic told me that the reason my idle is so low is because the computer is overwhelmed with all the air and it just needs time to get used to the way you drive so it can mix your fuel right. If i am wrong please let me know. hope i helped.

NO...that is very stupid...after i fill my car up, start it and pull out it will die while i am trying to get out of the gas station...lol...i dont know what to do...it is driving me crazy...and my dealership has already said that it is no longer under warranty since i added aftermarket parts...if the MAF is bad,i get to replace it...aaaggghhh
