there is one site that sells kits for our celicas with gauges that light up the color you want...I just can't remember the website
and someone on the boards has them...they look great

but you can take nail polish remover to the back of the needle to remove the orange, but be careful not to burn the needle since it's delicate.
It'll appear clear then when they light up.

they do not sell needles they sell rings that glow for the stock needles frown
as stated in there site
...The IntelliGlow needle kits will require 2 things to work with your vehicle.
1. Your vehicles gauges must have needles made of a Lexan based material. If you are not sure we have included an application chart at the bottom of this page for assistance. We do not provide new needles with the kit so the factory needles must be compatible.

If you just switch out your leds in the dash with your desired color, and remove the paint on the needles as stated above, the needles will be the same color as your leds. That's the "ballsy" way to do it though.

I have white needles. I painted them though and since I have the blue LED's they are white in the daytime and blue at night. I'll see if I can find a pic.

I'm gonna take your little Civic. Dust it off. Turn it sideways and stick it straight up you candy A*s.

k so use nail poilish remover to strip the paint...and the paint is actually on the backside and not the front of the needle...gotyah...so they will be clear during the day...could i paint them white and have the white leds...blue does look alright but i think the white might look better im not sure i need to see a pic but i dont think anybody has one...i have the ac reverse gauges and want teh led screen to be blue...there is too much blue going on so i figure white needles...my color scheme in the car is grey.silver/blue so i figured white would look cool. any thoughts thumbsup

if you take it off...don't paint it anything...

and be quick and careful..you do not want the nail polish remover to eat away the needle...it's very delicate..

then just change the LED's behind the needles to have a different color thumbsup thumbsup

it's not that delicate that it will melt..just don't let the nail polish sit on it for a period of time...don't paint it though...you'll be able to do it. grin

This is where I got the LED's and the face.

You'll never believe this but I used white out to paint them. It turned out great and if I want to change them I don't have to worry about using chemicals to take paint off. I've heard of people using sharpe markers too.

You just have to make sure that you don't get paint or whatever you are going to use on the sides of the needles or on the end. It doesn't light up as well if you do.

In the site that Eric posted it shows what the neddles look like with no paint on them. They're kind of hard to see.
It's been awhile since I got mine and I'm sure that there are cheaper places than RJ Auto Works to get the LED's.
When I got my LED's thye didn't have the condoms on there site so I don't know how well they work.
