yesterday i found glue from some sort of glue gun or super glue on my car!! it wasn't blobs of it, but a few swiggly lines of it between my rear bar and side.
need help on how to get this crap off... what's the best way without peeling paint off or scratching?
Good luck with that, I hope it's not super glue because then your screwed. If goo gone don't get it try some denatured alcohol (lightly it is a solvent) on it.
"They don't make no seatbelt for the mind. So I can't buckle up for this ride!"
It's probably dried tree sap. Once the stuff sets it looks like someone put super glue on your car.
Use some Cascade diswashing liquid mixed with hot water. It'll take a while, but it won't take any of the finish off the car like I'm worried Goo Gone might. I've done it many times.
I'm just a crosshair I'm just a shot away from you
if its a silicone type, then heat gun and then clay and then a coat of wax. if its super glue, then best of luck. use something like acethone or something.
I tried the blow dryer and fingernail thing, it gets the more solid stuff off, but smugges in everything ur fingernail goes over!!! AHHHHH~~~ i'm going to have to go out and buy myself some goo gone or sumthing~~
i went to the store to get something that will take the crap off, like bug&tar remover, but i think i'll take away my clear coat in the process so i'm going to go to a detailing shop and get some pro advice,
( i'm actually hoping they will get it off for me for free, cause it's only like 12cm (5") long...) wish me luck...
