Wow! Thats a 100 hp increase for 3,600. (140 -240 hp) that could put some gts up to 300 hp with a couple extra mods. Thats pretty damn crazy.

Well...maybe you can't do it on a stock GTS just upgrade the internals and go from their.

It's not a matter of,"if" gains were made, it's just a matter of "how much."

Just to let everyone know, the Stafford Fabrication Celica GT Turbo Kit is on a GB right now for $3300. We have actual dynoes done on the kit. At 6 psi we were able to produce 217WHP and 180WTQ. At 8 psi we were able to produce 234WHP and 199WTQ. These are proven data. That is more than 100 HP increase to the crank and wheels.

The turbo kit for the GTS will be available very soon. I have the prototype on my GTS and it is awesome. I have over 4000 miles on the kit now without any problems but traction and wheel hop.

What are you other mods? What kind of fuel enrichment? What kind of engine management? Does the kit have alcohol injection? Is alcohol injection an option you can buy? Will the kit produce gains in the 250 WHP neighborhood? Thanks in advance.

i wish i had more knowledge about these things so i dont sound like a complete dumbass...but, would those hp numbers produced be the same for a GT auto transmission...and how much would installation run estimated?

2zz with:
1. aem cai
2. trd intake
3. trial headers
4. grounding kit
5. new wirings
6. powerFC
7. light wheels
8. weight reduction
9. Carbon Fiber hood
10. good transmission
11. good compression
12. turbo

you wouldn't use an AEM intake and Trial headers with a turbo. Turbo manifolds take the place of the exhaust header. The turbo also has it's own intake which would be relocated as if you had your AEM intake in its normal position.

Is the Turbo for the 2003 Celica GTS out yet? Does anyone know when it's expected? Also, before I go turbo... I want to reinforce the engine so I can run a higher boost. Maybe 10psi... ???

I called DA about that turbo kit about 6 months ago. THey said they had problems with it, and dropped the project. I have no idea why they haven't taken down that site yet.

Stafford looks promising, if his website ever gets up and running.
