ok, i have something stinky coming out of my AC Vent and i just notice it right now when i drove it. do any of you have this problem? can you guys help me get rid of it? thanks P.U. P.U. I had the same problem. You just need to change your habits when it comes to operating your A/C. The smell probably comes from the little fungiods that are trapped in your A/C systems evaporator its immediate surroundings. If the moisture sits long enough molds and fungoids (my clinical term for icky fungus) will develop. There are things you can do to reduce the moisture that collects when running youre A/C. With the AC button on, I set the temp to the center of the dial (neutral) and I set the air source to Outside air. You should then turn the fan speed to the highest setting. The idea is to allow enough time for the air circulating in the system to adequately dry the evaporator and surrounding areas. This should reduce moisture build up and the odors. I usually do this a few minutes before reaching my destination.

Did you run over something?
Well, you could buy an air filter for the cabin. There's a slot for an air filter behind the glove compartment. I wouldn't buy one from the dealer, just make yourself one with furnace filter.

Wow so many stupid obnoxious comments that would be moderated. It's taking an incredible amount of attempted maturity and will power not to write them. Biting my tongue, biting my tongue.

You're supposed to turn the AC off about 5-10 minutes before you get to where you're going but leave the fans on so it dries up the condensation in the ac pipe things

The place where the filter is located is behind the glove box it is a little white basket lookin thing but there is no element in there just a place to put one.

You don't have one you just have a place to put one.

do i just slide one in? how do i know how it looks? i surly dont want to buy one if its going to cost a grip at the dealer! i wanted to make one but i dont know how it looks like. This is driving me just thinking of it. It's about 12 inches long and 8 inches wide (it's been a while since I pulled it out to change) Inside your glove compartment you have two stubs on both sides, back of the glove compartment and top, little black stubbs. Those are twist offs, But they are a pain to twist off! I suggest using some pliers and a towel to wrap them so they don't get scratched. But if you scratch them, who's gonna see it. Once you have those off, the glove door will open all the way, hanging down, just let it be. You'll see a light grey plastic slot that's removable, pull that out. that's where the filter goes. It looks like a tray, the plastic is fragile. hope that helps
