Well, as most of you know, I have been putting my underbody neons on. I am done and have pics. And most of you know that I suck at taking pictures, so bare with me on the suckiness, but you see how bright they are.

Notice the neon in the hoodscoop also

I was under the impression that blue neons were illegal...

If that's not the case, I may just have to get some. grin

Only if you have them on while you're in motion.

Parked, they're fine. thumbsup

yea they are illegal well atleast here in miami i have the blue streetglow on my car got pulled over like 1 month and a half ago 50 dollar fine its only the color that matters since blue is a emergency signal...all other colors are fine...and it dosent matter if ur in motion or ur car is parked somewhere you can still get a ticket...(took mine to court =)

Laws vary by location. Typically, if you are parked, you can have whatever type of lighting you want.. it's when you're driving that it becomes a problem.

Also, MOST colors [as opposed to only blue] are illegal to have on your car (with underbody neons, especially).

Ha ha, I had a friend that owned a WRX AWD Turbo, and he did a 4 wheel burnout at a stoplight when the cop was right next to him! It was hilarious!

truthfully that is more form than function; I don't think it would noticeably affect performance in daily driving.

The deal with the neon scoop.

I doubt that it cuts off any airflow, and if it does, its not enough to make a difference.

It is a 9" neon, and in the package came hardware for mounting the neon (comes in all pakcages). I held it where I wanted it to be, marked the holes, drilled them, then mounted the neon with the hardware. I then wired the neon to the switch I use with my underbodies. So when I flip my underbodies on, the hoodscoop comes on.

If you have any further questions, feel free to send me a PM or post them.

Dan

Yes. I just made sure not to go through the other side. If you look at your hood, you will see what I am talking about.
