breakinankles gave me the idea to take out my backseat completely and continue the subs/amp stuff all the way there

and right now im trying to draw a setup of the trunk and system

anyone wanna help come up with an outline?? like draw a trunk then figure out where to put the 12 inch subs (4) and the amps (possibly need 3 unless i bridge)...i've spent the last hour trying to draw somethin..i found out i suck at drawing...i'll post what i drew in a few minutes

alright well this was my plan

2 subs in the back of the trunk, tilted facing the person who is looking at the trunk
then 1 sub on the left and one on the right, they will be tilted so the soundwave crash into each other and there will be a big amp in between them

this is where taking out my back seat comes in

im thinking of fabricating a HUGE box to fill up the whole area so it will look like the car came as a 2 seater, i will put 2 amps there

6 isn't nuts, thats just not neccesary, and eardrum popping But your setup sounds perfect, just get enough power into those subs and you will turn a lot of heads, and get a great system.

yea i know now that i think about it ...im goin for 4

4 is still to much if you get the right kind sub...u will never be able to use all those watts in a hatchback...get like 2 or 3 jl audio w7's or something...that would hit soo hard...it be nuts

Screw the 12s, you've already got a couple it sounds like.

I say that you take out your backseat and get two 18w3 JL subs. Uh... you might need to replace your windows with something not so breakable though... like sheet metal...

lexani not sheet metal...hey iced you'll need to think more than just amps and subs at this point and i'd be more than happy to help you out give my cell a call. also don't listen to these people bout being to much. your goin show and part of show is sound and just 1 or 2 subs don't = sound... jl's are good for this kinda set up don't need to be the w7's either...eclipse aluminums would be tight! but like i said i have some ideas i did car installs for 4 years and just have been wait to finish my own but would love to help another !

Yup, go for it! I'm doing 4 12' Xtant Subs in my trunk soon. There's no such thing as too much bass!

That's so much wasted space... you could have fit like four 12's in that space. It does look sharp tho.

how about weight also? If your fill the back up with the box it'll be madd heavy. Good for now , until your warrant wears off and you start working on the engine.

if he does anything with his engine, at this point, its purely for show more than go.

yea like my mufflers, i got duals (universal) and i know they only add like 2whp but its only for the looks

I don't understand why people add so much weight when they make their cars faster ???
