Alright, I helped my friend with everything for his trunk setup today. Not much, 2 Rockford 10's SVC 4 ohm subs and a Rockford 301s 4 channel amp. I just wanted to check a few things for it's wiring. We turned it all on and nothing, I pulled out the multimeter and checked power coming from the battery using the little screw that holds the wire down in the amp. 14.3 so no problems there, but no sound coming out of the subs. I toyed with the wiring to only hook up one sub and see if I can get it to play but nothing still. I checked all the outputs with wiring in them and no readings all around. Now, I'm not positive on the final wiring for it, but what is it for presented a 2 ohm load to the amp to get the 150x2 @ 2 ohm's that the specs say. A quickie to add, on the Rockford Fosgate's site it says it has a led to show power is on, like my amp does, and the light never came on. Also, I set up a remote starter for him. Everything was cool once I figured out one little kink and then I put the dash back together. When we were finished and leaving he puts the key in and goes to start it. Nope, doesn't work. We sit there dumbfounded for a second and then he hits the remote starter and it starts fine. The car doesn't leave park until the key is in and when he put the key back in it leaves park and he can go, but it repeatedly wouldn't start with just the key. I think something might be loose from when I crammed the wires all together and zip tied them before I put the dash back on. I'll check that tomorrow. Any help is appreciated.
