Where did you get your invader style hood from Street Prototype? If you dont mind posting, how much did it cost, shipping and everything?
VIS is located in southern california. you can find a good deal on the hood from someone in that area and pick it up yourself. prices will range from 380 in a group buy to 550, depending on where you purchase it, good luck.
i was gonna pick mine up for 380 out the door from my friend's shop. however i passed on the offer because i'm still broke...VIS had in on hold for me for 2 months, waiting for me to pick it up...*sigh*
damn mike, sorry i didn't kno. the offer was only for me for that price, for other ppl it woulda been more expensive. right now imma be short a hood in about 2 wks. so i need to borrow someone's oem hood if they got a carbon fiber one on.
Clear see through ones? They are "for off road use only" because there are no crumble zone (would look ugly if it does). So you can not have that on while driving.
hey everyone i was one of the first people to have that hood and i was the first to get it painted that hood is bad ass on the celica i had to pay the 550 for it but since am in the military he hook me up free shiping and at the time i was in oklahoma you realy dont need hood pins for this hood vis is know for makeing good shit and plus i'v had my celica up to 115mph and the hood was fine but its up to you
btw mike...ur turbo is located behind the engine btwn that and the firewall...the vent on the invader hood is in the front where the intake manifold is..how would that cool your turbo?
