how much is the average cost to get a body kit painted and installed? i just got my kit in and took it to the shop. they charged me 550 for paint and installation. 450 for paint. 100 for install. did i get ripped? i was only expecting 350 for paint. what you guys think? its a professional shop. they do good work. ive seen an integra they did. OMG! well let me know. thx

no way man thats pretty cheap.they body shop i went to in my town said 700 and that was just from looking at the pics i showed him.so if i take it there i can expect to pay more than that.congrats man thats cheap

not really sure how much they usually run but Im still searching around my hometown and out here they are asking about 900. still waiting for my kit to get in so I'll keep looking

I had to pay $350 just for the front end , when mine was repainted. And then I installed it.

dang.. i feel a lot better now. one shop told me 600 for paint and i freaked out. someone told me they would paint it for 350 but i didnt go to them. i felt i could have got it done cheaper but i think i made a good choice with this shop because i KNOW it will looks good. they will work with me. ohh man, i cant wait to change my signature picture smile

well the price varies, if its something like only bumper lips and side skirts (like WW or TRD elegant type) it should be cheaper but if it for full bumper replacements then yes it is pretty cheap smile

thats so cheap especially for a replica cause they never fit right. i was quoted around 1.5k to repaint my whole car and install body kit

its actually from afs motorsports. the shop was suprised how well it fit. flip has the same kit i have on his car and people at the san diego meet couldnt tell the difference from what i hear. and by the way, no kit fits 100%. not even the real veilside.
