Glad to have this stuff installed. The hypothermia I suffered from installing all this in -20 weather was an added bonus. If anyone has any questions or comments go wild. thumbsup

I'd like to thank Tim Hortons for providing me with the coffee with which I am defrosting my internal organs with right now and also mother nature for stopping the downfall of snow long enough for me to wash the car. Major props also to that voice in my head that reminded me to disconnect the battery before getting all freaky with those red and black wires. thumbsup

Time to break out the good 'ol AC Gauge spiel. I've got it down pat. They stopped making the EL series (like mine) over the summer (who knows why) They've replaced them with the S7 series instead. You can still find lots of EL Gauges on eBay. Most people have the Voltmeter, Water Temp, Oil Temp or Air/Fuel. Which ones you want is up to you. The Voltmeter is an easy install as well as the Air/Fuel as far as I know. If you have any more specific questions drop me a PM! thumbsup

Lights up decently enough. I still prefer not to see that ugly orange color so it's worth it for me. smile

I used two spoons to gently pry the needles off. There was no way they were coming off just using my fingers. Flipped 'em over and used the nail polish remover and applied it with a little make-up applier thing (looks like a Q-tip)and waited a few seconds and the paint pretty much just disappears. Then I rinsed the needles off really good. I probably could have done a better job, at night I can see a little residue on the back of the needles but it still looks awesome. When I put them back on I used the info I found on this site about recalibrating the needles and mine work just fine again. Good luck! thumbsup

Hell ya! thumbsup All I touch is the Double Double! The Tim Hortons here is right across the street from my restaurant so we're always drinking their coffee and sneaking over to mow some donuts down. The last time I was down in the US (California) I was like, "What!? Where do you people get your coffee? Starbucks?" Who wants to pay $6 for a coffee when you got Timmy's hooking you up with an Xtra Large DD for like $1.50!

Are those clear needles from the stock orange? You have the website for clearing and recalibrating them?

Yes, those are the stock needles cleared out. You'll find as much info as your going to find about clearing out the needles in this thread here. Just PM me if you need more info. Here's the direct link for the page on calibrating...
