I just got my 2002 Celecia gt of fri and i want to get an exhaust, some rims and a lowering kit. I cut the springs on my last car and i will never do that again. I am looking for some economical answers for an exhuast and a lowering kit or spirngs. I was thinking about getting a magnaflow universal muffler with 2 1/2 inch pipe and am not sure about gutting the cat or keeping it on. Does anyone know how this would sound?? Is it worth it or sould i just save up for a catback. I am mainly looking for sound not really performance. I also saw a few spring kits for about 200. Would they be reliable, or again sould i save for something more expensive. Any info would help. Thank you.

if you want to take the economical route of customizing your car, it is going to be difficult. even if you get a generic muffler just for ur car, our cars exhaust are axle-backs, and thus the muffler shop is going to have to add a pipe in there, thus making it a custom exhaust. i recommend you get TRD or tanabe super racing medallion. as for springs, you can get used springs around here, they pop up once in a while so when you see one you should hop on that. either that or teins go for a good price on ebay. i got my trd springs for 130 shipped used for about 2k miles. as for rims, wheelmax has good rim and tire packages but ive heard bad things about the tires they give you as well as their service.

NO MAGNAFLOW, you'll thank yourself later. Pick up the Tanabe, i think you'll enjoy the sound.
