Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Best Mod?

I have an 02 gt and am trying to come up with a couple mods.I already have 18 inch wheels,kazuma exhaust,and tyc taillights.What do you guys think would be a good looking mod for the stock celica body?The revmotion front lip at the ecelica store,a wing/spoiler,or maybe an invader hood?Let me know what you guys think would be the best mod without buying a full body kit.

Carbon Fiber hood, c-one style hood scoop, roof spoiler or revmotion front lip.

when did you buy your tyc tails??

did they still have that gap in one of them???

explain this gap thing a little more and i will tell you.i think i know what your talking about but i want to make sure?

hey isaac,which do you prefer?.that hood or the vis invader hood?or would either look good without a body kit?and if so which do you prefer and where can i get one pretty cheap?

I prefer the BRS Hood, its much more agressive... and it had a totally different style hoodscoop than what everyone has been playing with

I think this is what you are talking about. the first picture is at a bad angle, and the second picture is blurry. but at least you get the idea

I think it would look AWESOME with the Veilside kit... Veilside and this hood both have the same agressive flowing lines

So now Im left with one more decision, I kinda wanted to paint the hood white (car is spec. blue), but Im not sure I want to do that seeing as how it looks good as is.

yeah thats the one. actually there is a third one in that series. its a bird's eye view of both taillights together ...

yes there is a gap and its the drivers side i think.but i have had them on since thanksgiving i think and havent had any problems with moisture yet so its all good

That hood is tight. I think that it would look better regular carbon fiber than white on a spec blue car. What exterior mods do you have. If you do this, you should have other white exterior mods such as wheels, and maybe like blue hood spoilers.

I am planning to get white rims, but If I keep the hood Carbon Fiber, I might just go with gunmetal.

I heard somewhere that if you spay some paint over the Carbon Fiber hood and let it drop down on it, it would give a nice colored carbon fiber look. I think you would have to clear coat it also.

I would say Limited Slip Differential is the best mod for around $1000.
And believe me I have just about everything out there...
