Double Post! I don't know why. Try just posting the link and not the image. [ 03-17-2003, 10:33 PM: Message edited by: SpiderManGT ]

check picture 4.jpg it shows the rear grill. its kind of hard to see cause its soo dark. the back reinforced bumper can be seen straight thru the grill. im going to buy some black spraypaint and paint it black cause the silver looks dumb behind the grill.

everything is beautiful except the sideskirts. theres a small gap on both sides that they tried to fix with double sided tape. they didnt want to drill into my car they said. but im going back and telling them its ok to drill cause i dont want that gap there. other than that, everything fits really nice. they were impressed with the fitment of a replica. check the pictures out and tell me how good you think its fits.

Sorry about the missmatch paint. But maybe with time it will get better. If I were you Id just leave like that. What ever you do, do NOT drill into the car.

ok guys, heres what happened. i went back to the shop and they deffinatley noticed the color difference. they got their paint guy to come down and he took me to his shop. hes going to repaint the whole kit for me, free. its going to take a day or two and lots of gas (cause i live in the boonies) but i think its worth it. why do you say i shouldnt drill into my car? its the only way i can have the kit fit snug against the side. it wont look too bad. not bad at all actually..

i dont like clears. i used to when they first came out but now everyone has em, including riced out cavaliers, neons, camaros, etc. if i get new lights, im either going with the stock 03' tails or some gunmetal or red out tails.

Do you know the stock fog fit directly into the bumper hole or need any modification on the bumper or moving the fogs? Can you ask your shop for me? Because I just installed my kit too and I was told the stock fog can not fit directly in there.
Thanks

Thanks i told them i wanted to keep the foglights cause flip got the same kit i did and the shop took them off. ive also seen other celicas with my kit that had their fogs moved to the middle portion of the kit. i wanted mine where they are now. he said it didnt take any moving arround. so i guess they fit right in. i dont understand why others moved their lights tho..

this really doesn't fit into ne of the topics so as might as well just say it here for all those building show carz you might wanna check out www.autosportz.com [ autosportz.com] they now offer a vertical door conversion (VDC) made by DECAH for the 00-03 toyota celica it requires minor body mods and retails at $1500 enjoy!
