Ok guys need some answers:

When i get my celica i will want to lower it on 18's with the apr gt300 kit. I will want the celly to ride around 2 inches off the ground. The problem is i live in the UK and with have speed bumps all over the place and the car will not be able to get over them and also my drive way is a bit steep. So i was looking around for a solution, air suspension both front and rear rising the car to about 6 inches and dropping it to just 2 inches off the ground. Is air suspension possible on a celly? and where can i get it?

My next question is, i have realised the celica sits you quite low. I havent sat in one yet but it looks as if it does. If i get a stock celica can the seat move up and down as i am only 5"5 cry. i am also wondering when i change the seats is there a way of getting sparco seats to move up and down on a special rail? Please help me out
THANKS ALL

no they dont' move up and down...just forward and back..

I don't think its practical cause the best thing that the celica has is its suspension abilities and handling by doin air suspension you are ruining that!! grin

is air suspension really that bad at handling?

do you think is just to keep the celica just at normal height then even with a body kit and 18's. wont it look rubbish?

Just buy a nice set of coilovers or springs and shocks and it will lower it nicely thumbsup

Air ride... To much money and most likely probles...
My frend got AIR .He spent $1800 and suspenton came with cheap plastic pipes...so he got normal (Good) pipes for $600 + $1000 to install it... and one of his shocks is "leaking" he got replacement in couple of weeks but did not changed it yet. So far he spent $3400...
$3400!!!!!!!!!! I'm not trying to say it's bad... it'is good but $3400!!!??? he could add $1600 more and get a turbo...
And now tell me how many upgrades you can get for your car for $3400 if you not going for AIR or TURBO...A LOT!!!!
But it's your money my frend...

I've always been a fan of air rides because of the versatility. Particulary in my neighborhood there are a lot of speed bumps, and a normal set of coilovers doesn't lower it enough for me. So for example, you could cruise around at "stock height" and when you park and whatnot, you can slam it. Installation is simple, if you can install a shock absorber, you can install air ride. Also too, if you have air, you can make your car dance! Lets see you do that with an ordinary pair of coilovers! thumbsup
