i went to a local mod shop and I asked them how much they could get a TRD exhaust for and he said 500 and i said ok but then he said well you shouldnt even really bother b/c all it is is noise, if ur gonna spend that much on an exhaust ur better off getting a port and polish, so i'm not sure what to do, how much are port and poliches usualy range from? frown

dont know how much port&polish costs, but after i installed TRD exaust my 1/4 mile time went down by .3 seconds, so NO its not just sound, but ive herd VERY good things about portand polish, just make sure the shop doing it is VERY experianced with that stuff

I would go for the port and Polish. But thats just me. After seeing the gains from an exhaust system, I bet you could get more out of a P&P. But the thing with a P&P job, they have to take the motor apart, so if you want to do other internal work, now is the right time. I nebver got the P&P cause I want to do everything at the same time, I'm weird like that. If you could save up and get both (P&P and exhaust) at the same time, because you will probably get better results with the exhaust after the P&P. Hope that helps you out. Just make sure you go to a reputable machine shop for that kind of work.

We do not have a REAL catback exhaust system...well, they do not sell one anyways (unless its Kazuma). If you want a true catback exhaust, buy whatever exhaust you want...which will consist of the muffler. Then go to a muffler shop and get a Hi-Flo cat with a custom midpipe and eliminate the resonator.
