I had a 2000 civic si and 99 integra gsr, so I know what vtec feels like. Lift better than vtec????

Congrats! I bought my Celica on ebay too. The transaction went really smooth although I did have to pay sales tax. I actually almost got screwed cause I paid Texas taxes and then when I brought it back to Pennsylvania and went to register it, they said that I had to pay taxes in Pa too. Well, it turns out that Texas and Pennsylvania are 2 of the 6 states that have a deal where the taxes transfer. Anyway, how are you getting it home? I flew to Texas and drove mine home. I made a vacation out of it. We stopped in New Orleans on the way home and I won $1000 in a casino on a slot machine. Good luck with it. Have fun!

I only live about 7 hrs from phoenix so we're gonna make a road trip out of it. I'm definately going to test drive it before I hand over any money. I looking forward to owning a celica, I just hope this one doesnt get stolen like my last two cars.

Why do you say that buying a car off of ebay is brave. I'm going to be test driving it and inspecting it before I hand over any money. Also, how do I tell if there are broken lift bolts, I'd like to know before I test drive.

Its brave because you can't take the car to a dealership and have it inspected in case there is a problem, in other words, you don't know what you are getting, unless the seller is reputable or you know him. But congrats on the car nevertheless.

Congrats on the car!!! youll know that your lift bolts are broken once you hit 6100 rpms and you dont feel an instant kick, like kinda throwing you back into your seat..
