You will get both answers. People will tell you ups and downs about both intakes. It is your preference. I have Injen and I love it. They are both the same, where one lacks, the other improves. The difference is too small to make a difference. Hope this helps, Peaceout.

Increasing your air intake will raise exhaust note.

As for the intakes the AEM is better donw low, Injen is better on top, but you lose more down low. THe best way to go, if you want to spend the money, is the K&N Typhoon CAI. (not sure if its available for the 2001) THe peak gains are much better, and with little or no cutting, or power loss. I hope this helps.

Hey GregO, who do you know if K&N is better than AEM or injen. Where did you find out. Cause if it is, I want a K&N Typhoon.

I've read about the typhoon, it just recently came avaliable to the celica...i think its between years 00-03...it should be...

it's a lot more expensive than the injen or aem cause its more of a cold air system.

hey guys, so if the injen intake adds more high end horsepower, then does that mean it makes the low end weaker than the stock power at low end rpm's? just wondering, and if the aem adds low end does that make the high end weaker than stock. Let me know guys.
