Here are a couple of (kind of blurry) pics to go along with my post from a day or two. Like I said in that post, i'm just loving this intake!
What do the rest of you GT'ers run in terms of CAI or Shortrams?

question- that tube that comes out of the box that says "do not remove" that bends over the intake- what is that? cause when i had my AEM intake installed, it was removed. nothing bad has happened yet, and its been over a year. what the hell is that? i would circle it, but i dont know how. you know which part im talking about?

it provides fresh air to the ECU.

oh crap. in every other picture ive seen with any kind of intake that piece is still connected...is this a bad thing? also, the tube doesnt seem to attach to anything besides that box with the "do not remove" on it. is that right?

Yeah, I love the chrome too. You don't have to take the bumper off to do that install, do you?

Don't have to take off bumper to install, and that tube is for cooling the ECU...without it, you may have no troubles...or eventually your ECU may just get too hot. Kind of like having a fan in your PC, just there to keep it cool.

Yes there should be what's called a 'lower duct' that the other end goes into. Just try to remember when you pulled it off smile Think also, that lower duct has to be pretty much directly blow the upper ECU duct so as the straight tube goes straight from top to bottom.
