I bought my TSRM from AFS Motorsports. Yes it is a catback/axel back.. did you notice we dont have a rear axel? we have FWD double wish bone suspension. the tsrm consists of 1 muffler and 1 canister that bolt on right behind the rear passenger side wheel
No NO NOOOOOOO!!!! Don't use WD40 for any type of rubber or to fit things on more smoothly with exhaust. if you do you will end up buying new rubber bushings because they will chunk up and fall apart. try to find a water based lub. that will not harden the rubber.
Every time I think about it, it makes me think about getting another exhaust. I was hoping for a full exhaust system, like what they show on the picture and what the explination says (about how they used minimal curves in the piping for max performance). Oh well, think Im just gonna wait until I get back home and install it before I decide on keeping it or not, but most people on here seem to love it even if it is just a axle back so I guess I'll just have to wait and see for myself.
i picked up my TSRM yesterday from el monte and i cant wait to install it this weekend! i got it for only $420! i think it was a very good deal this guy hooked me up..so if any of you guys wants a TSRM for the same price, let me know so i can email him..by the way, what is that "water based lubed" Fratboy21 was talking about? i've never heard of it before..and what company makes them?
Its just a lubricant, its at all auto parts stores, different brands make them.
But I have never heard of WD40 hurting anything. I used, and I'm fine, I use WD40 for everything. Lots of others used it also. Its not like you are letting the rubber sit in a bowl of it, you are just giving it a couple of squirts. But do what you want.
