Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Upholstery trim

I have a 1984 Celica and the front seat upholstery needs a bit of repair. A local upholstery shop is doing the repair, but does not have the trim pieces necessary. These look like chrome-plated plastic strips a couple of feet long. The shop has almost the same strips, but the Celica's are wider. The local Toyota dealer parts guy told me this was a lost cause and to visit the junkyard. Anyone have a better source?

just go to a salvage yard and try to find one.

YOur local AutoZone/Pepboys has these... they are plastic and can be molded to fit the trim of your car

Cost is about $10 for 12ft and comes in a long box thats usualy found in the "Detailing" or "Riceboy"/"Speed-Gauges" section
