All right I need some help here. I have some marks on my car... They look like scratches but they aren't deep, mostly just scratches on the clear coat... Now I tried to buff my car and then washed and re-waxed it but I still have marks. Anyone know how I can get rid of these marks?? Again, they aren't deep scratches or anything just on the clear coat. Help if you can. Thanks!!!

Oh man it's noticeable on my car... You see my car is black and well lets just say that in the daylight it is really noticeable... I know that it's minor stuff but it bothers me cause there is a few of them that stick out everytime I wash the car... I mean it shine like no other but so do the scratches... And I know I can get them out I just need to know how?? Anyone know?

Pheionix, I feel your pain. My girl is carbon blue. She had some nasty ass swirls/scratches that I was able to remove. If the scratches are minor meaning you can see them but not feel them, I use 3M's Imperial Hand Glaze to remove the minor scratches. The glaze isn't aggressive and does a nice job of removing those scratches. It also preps the paint for wax. I then follow the glaze with my favorite wax. Remember, wax will not remove the scratches - it's simply a protective barrier between the paint and the elements. [ 03-23-2003, 05:52 PM: Message edited by: Jetfan ]

Did you use an electric buffer? Try that.
