I know Tein has a good rep but i was wondering if anyone has had experience or knows anything about the electronic coilovers that tein has.I found some for the celi and the coilovers are 1400 and then the electronic motors along with a control box for inside the cabin is around 400..u guys think this would be a good investment considering it would most likely be 100% safer than air ride.WHat is your opinions?

If you have hte money then go for it. I'm sure it will be much more comfortable and better quality than an air ride suspension setup. ALso, tein is a very good name thumbsup

Don't know much about the electric motor or anything, but i have the Tein HA's on my celi and never had a problem with them. they have close to 30,000 miles too. Go with the Teins. You will love them.

I'm not sure what you're going for. Tein makes a great coilover for our cars. The SS-P can be found for $1250 or maybe under that's the only configuration that will work with the EDFC. If you're into changing damping on the fly or want an electronic device that actually does something (1/2 din) and also for show. Then it can't be beat. Ripping out the back trunk plastics everytime you need to change or experiment things is a hassle. The EDFC does this changing for you in the seat. Now for that money. If your into auto-X or racing I would invest that money into JIC. Look here... JIC FLT A2 [jic-magic.com]. Their quality is amazing. If the FLT isn't enough you can always get the FLT A2 RS where they custom tune the AS to your needs. I'm sure Tein will do the same and the EDFC is in high demand. I'm thinking of either changing to Jic or the SS-P and the EDFC myself. I'm sure you will be more than satisfied if you went with Tein and the EDFC.

Personally i would not get the electronic dampening conrol. I have the SS and they rock. Adjustability is super quick on the fronts and same for the rears if you are willing to cut a small hole in the interior on each side to get to the adjustment knob. If i were going to spend more on the coilovers i would definaltly upgrade the coilovers rather than get the electronic do dad to adjust them. Just another thing to break in my opinion. JIC's are hot... but just a bit expensive.
