What tools do you need to put on body kit yourself because I think I'd be better off putting it on myself than paying an extra $200 to install it.

Is it already painted?

bolts, drill, sander & sand paper, clippers, screwdriver, razor blade, socket wrench

you'll first be taking your old parts off - so a few things need to be undone and cut... then you'll be putting your new stuff on - so a few things need to be fitted/sanded and holes need to be drilled... you'll also be putting on your sides, so you will need screws and a drill to put those screws into your fender's sheet-metal.

remember - when modifying any type of bodywork (this includes sanding and drilling), you only get one shot at making it perfect... and this is why we recommend that you always take it to a PROFESSIONAL (someone who has done this type of work before)

No, it's not painted but it's ready to be painted. Would it make a difference if I paint it then put it on. Thanks

The front and rear are easy to remove. I think all you need is a 10mm deep socket and that'll do ya. Good luck

If you have a Replica kit just pay extra $200 for them to install it...If it's original do it your self.
I have a replica kit and I spend around $60 on tools and 16 hours of my time to install it.(Fit was not perfect).

You need to test fit it first. Paint it after it's been installed & removed. This should be the best way.

Agreed...test fit it first. Get all of your holes drilled etc, go get it painted and then slap that puppy on!! EASY.

It all depends on where you can take it to get work done. Some places will charge by the hour and if its a difficult fit then it can get expensive. Also understand that not only do you have to get it fit but also painted. I highly doubt you can find a quality place that both fits and paints it for 200. Fitment is not too bad if you have any skill with fiberglass, a sander and dremel and such. However painting can be rough. Most toyota paints are not flat colors. They are metalics and specialty colors that can be hard to come by. My silver celi is a bitch to match unless you have full equipment cause the metalic flake is tough to get to go on evenly. SO if you are a do it your selfer and still want to fit it.
Here is my list: Belt sander, dremil, socket wrench with 10mm, flat head screwdriver, resin/ hardner, 2 to 8 oz fiberglass cloth (a good square yd or so just in case you have to do some frankenstien work. ) and then snadpaper for the beltsander in 100 and 200 ( for shaping and getting rid of excess) and normal wet dry sandpaper 400 600. One of those palm sanders would be good too.

its your kit Poly Urethane or Fiberglass? the toold are slightly different...

and is it genuine - or a replica ?

have it fitted first by yourself, then have it painted, get it back and you'll be fine!
