Greased up my shift linkage tonight, using spray on, white lithium grease. Lubed up my shifter ball at the same time. thumbsup thumbsup Shifts are much smoother.

yea it works really good. I used axel/wheel bearing grease, becasue I did not have any white lithium grease at my house , and I didn't want to go buy any.

Be prepared to lube that up once every 2-3 months, once the lithium dried out and cakes up, it'll be back to normal.

is there any other grease that lasts longer, or maybe a better grease?

Use the kind that comes in a jar rather than the spray. That way you could precisely put the grease where it's needed and not make a big spraying mess.

thats what i did... and it was black lithium instead of white.
