I was cleaning the inside of my car and found a spring...I know its from my passenger seat because it doesnt moove forward on its own...u have to push it forward. anyone kno where that srping goes so i can put it back????

take off the 4 bolts holding ur seat down and remove it. i think you will have an easier time seeing where the spring goes then. removing the seat takes like 2 minutes and that should help you see what the situation is.

btw...i could be wrong i'm not sure either of my seats really "springs" forward. not sure though, i don't move them very often at all.

the spring hooks from the back of the seat (underside) to the front of the slider (underside)

it's used to pull the seat forward to allow easy access to the back seat.

You probably bowed one end of it, just take some pliers and bend it back and reattach it.

You have to take the seat out to do this, four bolts and lift it out.
