True that, but if you feel better getting a new one, you can get one here at the celica store for around $50 or so more thumbsup

you should clean it every 6-7K miles

you should never need to buy a new filter.

buy a new one intake.. then at least you have peace of mind knowing how the intake has been treated.. and if it will perform at peak standards. buying a used one.. its like buying a used car.. you never know.

and if you buy a new one.. you can always take it back to the dealer or manufacturer if there is a problem.

I would buy a new one. It's not too much more. Who knows. there could be some small tiny thing wrong with the intake that he can't see.

For $40 more you can buy a brand new Blitz intake from suprastore.com And if you're worried about hydrolock, then shortram is the way to go. I was driving through a ton of puddles yesterday & nothing happened to the engine. I only slowed down on the big puddles 'cuz my tires will just skid & loose traction. It's pretty fun grin

But yeah, if the tube isn't punctured & the filter is in great shape, then it's a really good deal
