hi. i have a 2000 GTS. Some guy on another celica forum is selling an Injen cold air intake which has been used for about 600 miles or maybe less. the price he's asking is about 150. It looks like it doesnt have the warranty thou. Do you guys think i should go for it? Thnx.
buy a new one intake.. then at least you have peace of mind knowing how the intake has been treated.. and if it will perform at peak standards. buying a used one.. its like buying a used car.. you never know.
and if you buy a new one.. you can always take it back to the dealer or manufacturer if there is a problem.
just get a new one. takes a lot of the guessing and nervouness (is that even word??) out of it. www.karnagemotorsports.com [karnagemotorsports.com] or IM him on aim at "pakithug88". tell him george sent you
For $40 more you can buy a brand new Blitz intake from suprastore.com And if you're worried about hydrolock, then shortram is the way to go. I was driving through a ton of puddles yesterday & nothing happened to the engine. I only slowed down on the big puddles 'cuz my tires will just skid & loose traction. It's pretty fun
But yeah, if the tube isn't punctured & the filter is in great shape, then it's a really good deal
